Interested in narrow gauge steam locomotives ? Interested in volunteering ? Ever thought of joining the growing ranks of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway Preservation Society?
Come and visit us on Saturday 18th April to see the Society in action and what it can offer you and, perhaps what you can offer the Preservation Society.
Doors open at The Junction, the Preservation Society's new accommodation located opposite the turntable at Ravenglass, at 10.00 am, with hourly guided behind the scenes tours from 11.00 am of the Engine Shed, the Paint Shop and Workshops.
The Museum and old British Rail signal box will also be open and manned by volunteers, so think of those questions.
As an added bonus if you join the Preservation Society on the day, time permitting, you will be entitled to a free return trip on the " Ratty ". Numbers are limited to 50 so pre - booking is essential. Use the following link to register :
